Mr. Sudip Ghimire

Mr. Sudip Ghimire

Lecturer

Mr. Sudip Ghimire is an educator and hospitality professional with over 10 years of experience. At Nepal College of Management, he teaches Contemporary Hospitality & Tourism in the BHM program, blending academic knowledge with industry experience. He has taught at NATHM, Nepal Mountain Academy, ICHM Nepal, and Columbus College, covering subjects like High Altitude Hospitality and Tourism fundamentals across various programs. He also served as Assistant Academic Coordinator at Nepal Mountain Academy, contributing to the Master’s syllabus in Adventure Tourism. Mr. Sudip focuses on preparing students for leadership by combining theory with practice.

Mr. Prafulla Rijal

Marketing

Prof. Prafulla Rijal is a marketing professional with over 7 years of experience in brand management and product marketing. He currently works as Manager – Marketing and Brand Management at CG Communications Ltd., where he leads initiatives in strategy, product development, and sales partner optimization. Previously, he served as Brand and Product Growth Manager at Fonepay, focusing on user acquisition and digital brand expansion. He has expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing, with experience across various platforms. Prafulla holds an MBA from Global College International, affiliated with Shinawatra University, Thailand. At NCM, he blends industry experience with academic insight to teach marketing and sales from a practical perspective.

Mr. Narayan Paudel

Financial Markets and Instititions

Mr. Narayan Paudel is currently serving as the Assistant Director at the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the regulatory body overseeing Nepal's capital market. He is involved in key areas such as market supervision, compliance, policy formulation, and investor protection, contributing to transparency and sustainable market growth. In addition to his role at SEBON, Mr. Paudel is actively engaged in academia and teaches Financial Market and Institutions at Nepal College of Management.

Mr. Matrika Prasad Khatiwada

Logic

Mr. Matrika Prasad Khatiwada is a faculty member at Nepal College of Management (NCM), where he teaches Logic and Managerial Communication in the BBA program. He is also a faculty member in the Department of English at Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus, Tribhuvan University, teaching English Literature, Literary Criticism, and Academic Writing at undergraduate and graduate levels. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he is a Cambridge University International A Level faculty member, teaching English General Paper and Literature at Little Angel’s College and Campion Academy. He has also taught at GEMS, The British College, and other institutions.

Political Science

Mr. Chakra Bam is a political science lecturer at Nepal College of Management (NCM) with expertise in political philosophy, international political economy, Nepali politics, international relations, and regional affairs. He is also affiliated with Tribhuvan University’s Central Department of Political Science, Saraswati Multiple Campus, R.R. Campus, Kathmandu University, and Sagarmatha Multiple Campus, Purbanchal University. Mr. Chakra holds a Master’s degree in Political Science (Gold Medalist) from Tribhuvan University and is currently pursuing an MPhil there. He has published several academic articles, including studies on Sino-Indian relations, Nepal-China ties, and parliamentary democracy in Nepal.

Mr. Birat Shrestha is a faculty member at Nepal College of Management (NCM), where he teaches Strategic Marketing Management, Sales, Advertising & Promotion, Brand Management, and Business Plan Development. His teaching emphasizes preparing students for real-world marketing challenges by combining academic rigor with practical industry insights. He is also the Managing Director of Access Universe Pvt. Ltd., a business consulting firm specializing in strategic marketing and business development.

Prof. Rita Shrestha, Ph.D.

Prof. Rita Shrestha, Ph.D.

Psycology

Prof. Rita Shrestha holds a PhD in Psychology/Organizational Behavior from the University of Delhi. She has served as Head of the Psychology Department at Tribhuvan University and Padma Kanya Campus. Currently, she leads the Psychology Subject Committee at Kathmandu University School of Arts and teaches MPhil programs at Kathmandu University and Nepal College of Management. Her research includes work as a senior psychologist in the international MAL-ED child health study. She is an expert in early childhood cognitive assessments and has developed Psychology curricula for Tribhuvan and Kathmandu Universities. She has also published multiple research articles nationally and internationally.

Mr. Ramesh Rimal is a Master’s Degree Graduate in Travel & Tourism Management (MTTM) from Tribhuvan University. Since 2017, he has been involved in tourism education, contributing his knowledge and experience to renowned university-affiliated colleges across the Kathmandu Valley. In addition to his educational pursuits, he has worked as a tourism expert in areas such as sustainable tourism, cultural exchange, and destination management. His personal and professional endeavors reflect a commitment to promoting tourism that respects and enhances the cultural, economic, and natural richness of Nepal's tourism destinations.

Ms. Astha Bharijoo

Ms. Astha Bharijoo

Ms. Astha Bharijoo is a dedicated Room Division Management faculty member with a decade of experience in planning and implementing curricula for students with disabilities. Passionate and highly effective in her field, she holds a Master’s in Hospitality Management from Tribhuvan University. Her extensive academic and administrative background includes serving as a Program Coordinator for the Bachelor in Hospitality Management program at NCM and the Bachelor in Hotel Management program at the Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education. She has also contributed as a Front Office Management faculty member at NATHM and as a Program Officer for the BHM program at AITM School of Hotel Management. Through her commitment to excellence in hospitality education, Astha continues to shape and inspire future industry professionals.

Mr. Indra Subedi

English Lecturer

Mr. Indra Subedi is a versatile English lecturer with years of experience teaching across various academic levels and programs. He holds a Bachelor's in Education (English) and an MA from Tribhuvan University, along with an MPhil in English Literature from Pokhara University. His academic journey spans undergraduate and graduate programs affiliated with both domestic and international institutions, including BCA, CSIT, BIM, BBM, BBS, MBS (TU), BPH, BNS, BHCM (PU), and BA (Hons) from a Malaysian university. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Subedi has served as an English facilitator at the Department of Education, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office, and led a session on Technical Writing at Prime College. He has also provided TOEFL iBT and IELTS preparation classes. He is a life member of NELTA (Nepal English Language Teachers’ Association).

Mr. Ameen Maharjan

Psychology

Mr. Ameen Maharjan has been serving as a visiting faculty of Psychology at Nepal College of Management since 2018. He holds both Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Psychology (Clinical Specialization) from Tribhuvan University. Known for his dynamic and approachable teaching style, he has taught various levels and programs including Master’s in Psychology, Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology, BA, BBA, BBM, and BIM. In addition to teaching, Mr. Maharjan is an experienced adolescent psychosocial counselor and has facilitated preventive education sessions on drug addiction at rehabilitation centers. He is also a lifetime member of the Bangladesh Psychometric Society, affiliated with Dhaka University.

Er. Uttam Karki is a dedicated Ph.D. scholar specializing in Machine Learning at the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. His expertise lies in the field of Computer Engineering, and he boasts a decade of rich academic experience. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to institutions such as Kathmandu University, Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, Purwanchal University, Mid-Western University, and various foreign universities. Er. Karki's commitment to advancing knowledge in the realm of machine learning has made him a valuable asset in academia.
